Join us on the farm for the perfect summertime activity with your kids featuring our guest designer Hannah Muller from Full Belly Farms.
Summer Fun With The Kids
Looking for a fun unique weekend activity to spark the creativity in your kids? We have the perfect day planned for you and your flower loving littles. Join us as Hannah Muller from Full Belly Farm Floral demonstrates her techniques, tips and tricks to create a beautiful fresh flower crown. All materials needed from the flowers to ribbon and crown are included. The day will be captured by the talented Ashley Noelle Edwards of Ashley Noelle Edwards Photography and you’ll also receive a digital photo of your floral creation with you and the kids to commemorate the day. No prior floral design experience is needed. We’ll make you all feel right at home designing. It’s the perfect way to celebrate summer so parents, grandparents, aunts & uncles grab your favorite kids and enjoy a relaxing summer day learning on the farm!
When Hannah was little, her mother would spend hours picking buckets filled with flowers to arrange for countless orders and farmers markets. While she worked, her hands a blur of clippers and blooms, she napped in the back of trucks and in boxes, exhausted from her days of exploring.
As she got older, I began to share in her mother’s enthusiasm for arranging flowers at various community events and farmers markets. To this day, there is no one she has more fun designing with than her mother. In the past three years, she’s grown her love of flowers into a branch of Full Belly Farm that offers local and sustainably grown and arranged flowers for weddings and events.
She is passionate designing, and intent to continue the important practice of using locally sourced flowers. Nothing makes her feel more fulfilled than working with flowers. She is the proud auntie to many nieces & nephews and is great teaching with kids. We are so happy Hannah will be sharing her knowledge with us!
Your leader for the day is our founder & farmer Felicia Alvarez. The workshop will take place in our rustic barn studio where Felicia will give a brief presentation about growing flowers on the farm and give the grown-ups and kids a chance to ask all of their growing flower questions. We can’t wait to share the fall farm magic with you.
